• Ability to create “Mobile Voice” call profiles from the “Book” menu of the front panel.

Fixed issues :

• In double codec mode, with a first AoIP call established to a Cellphone with the knock-on feature enabled, the attempt to setup a second AoIP call to this same Cellphone, and if the callee decides to pick up the second incoming call, results in a “Waiting for Sync” for the second call. No subsequent call will succeed, requiring a reboot of the codec.
• The accessibility of the “AUX” and “AES 1/2” virtual knobs in the monitoring pages does not follow the “AES / AUX2 Input Format” audio setting. (Dual mobile version only)

• The status panel now shows the current radio access technology (RAT) for a mobile network interface when registered on the radio based communication network.
• Possibility to send control codes as prefixes of the dial string for AoIP and ISDN calls. The * and # characters usually delimit the control code, the network or the PBX uses this control code to trigger certain actions.

• Improved locating SIP servers when associated with a single domain name (as described in RFC 3263), i.e. send a new request to the next SIP server in the list when a SIP registration failure occurs.
• Ability to configure the “session timers” mode (as described in RFC 4028) from the “Network > AoIP Settings” menu of the front panel and page of the html interface; enabling the “session timers” may improve the interoperability with some SIP servers, this mode is disabled by default.
• Modified the “Audio” html page: ability to use the monitoring mix of the fourth commentary position as a source signal which contributes to the output mix buses; the left channel can be injected to “LINE 1” and “RAV 1” outputs, the right channel to “LINE 2” and “RAV 2” outputs.

Fixed issues :

• Regression introduced in version 1.12: when updating an existing call profiles from the html interface, it is saved as “unnamed”.
• Regression introduced in version 1.14: the operation mode in which the “Side tone” of a given commentary position is muted as long as the associated input is routed neither to the “Program” nor the “Coordination” buses is not properly handled by the “All PGM Buttons Off” function.

• New “Coord n” functions (with n=1 to 4) to take full control over the state of a “Coord” button from a single GPI.
• New “All PGM Buttons Off” function to remove the microphone signal of the four commentary positions from the “Program” mix bus using a single GPI. This function can also be assigned to a programmable function key.

• For the “Premium+” version, ability to deactivate the AES67 module from the “Audio” menu of the front panel in order to reduce power consumption.

Improvements :

• In double codec mode, improved management of incoming AoIP calls and routing to the appropriate codec when the callee is addressed with an alias instead of the main SIP URI.

• Booting the codec will mistakenly restore the default APN of the Mobile module.

• For the “Premium+” version, support of ST2022-7 : secure the AES67 interface by using redundant links.
• As an alternative to “Double streaming” which secures an AoIP/SIP link with two redundant paths, support of a “Bonding” scheme that distributes the AoIP stream over two lower bit rate channels. More information in this application note.

Improvements :

• The AoIP quality statistics now remain displayed on the “Connections” html page even after the termination of a link.
• These statistics are available separately for each of the streams involved in a link using “Double streaming” or “Bonding”.
• “Sound ID”: the signal is also injected on channels 3 to 6 of the AES67 output, and the feature can be enabled/disabled by tapping the indicator on the main page.
• “On Air Status” feature available on GPO1: contact closed whenever at least one channel is enabled on the program bus.
• Added “AES67” html page that shows the status of the AES67 module and the IP addressing parameters of its Ethernet interface.

Fixed issues:

• Regression introduced in version 1.09 : GPO2 does not follow the received “Info 2” if GPO1 is not assigned the “Info 1” state.

Improvements :

• Ability to perform double streaming AoIP calls using two SIP servers. This feature is rarely useful, but it allows easily switching between single codec, double codec and double streaming modes.

Fixed issues:

• Fixed major issues associated with the auxiliary Ethernet interface: hanging when trying to update the firmware through this interface, or temporarily freezing when the traffic is high on the network.
• Erroneous tooltip information on the “Remote Access Portal” when the unit was registered simultaneously on two SIP servers.

• Ability to register simultaneously on two SIP servers so that the unit can accept incoming AoIP calls indifferently from either server. When using this feature, one of the servers is selected as default to make outgoing calls.
• Ability to filter incoming AoIP calls and accept only incoming calls originated from the configured SIP server(s).
• New “Advanced Settings” in the “Coding” page of the web interface: ability to hold an AoIP audio connection even without receiving packets, ability to configure a 6 dB attenuation for the G711 decoder.

Improvements :

• New “Redial/Release” function to control the state of an audio connection from a single GPI.
• Warning message if attempting to change the “Preferred Network Operator” while an audio connection is running or the data service is active on, the mobile access module.

• For the dedicated knobs on the commentary positions, ability to select among two operation modes: “side tone” (default mode) or “mic gain” (channel gain in the mix). The mode is identical for all 4 positions, and selectable via the “Audio” menu.
• Audio level monitoring of all inputs: a vertical bargraph with peak hold is displayed at the left of each input gain on the “Mixing” page.
• Pop-up message warning when the unit is running on low battery level.
• Pop-up warning and progression messages when the firmware of the “AES67 module” is being updated, to prevent one from turning off the unit too early. (concerns Premium+ version only).

Improvements :

• Improved communication with the remote access server for a faster information update on the “Remote Access Portal”.

Fixed issues :

• In some LAN configurations, the IP routing could be defective and lead for instance to a SIP registration failure.
• The “AUX1” input was mistakenly muted when “AES / AUX2 Input Format” was set to “Digital (AES 1/2)” in the “Audio” menu of the front panel or the “Audio” page of the web interface (Premium+ version).

• Added support for the “Premium+” version of the ScoopTeam, which brings additional audio I/O, especially with the integration of a new AES67/Ravenna network module. 5 input channels and 8 output channels are provided on this interface. It is configured from the ScoopTeam menu, except the receiver delay fixed at “automatic”.
• “Sound ID” : customizable audio file played in a loop and inserted on the PGM bus (Premium+ version only).
• Ability to manage SIP profiles, from the “Book” menu of the front panel or the “SIP Profiles” page of the html interface.
• Ability to manage the equipment using SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol); note that only a subset of the features and information is exposed to the SNMP manager.

Improvements :

• Ability to show/modify the audio input labels in the “Tools > Labels” menu of the front panel; this includes the ability to name the three additional AES67 input channels for the “Premium+” version of the ScoopTeam.
• Ability to configure a screen saver in the “Tools” menu page of the front panel; the display is automatically dimmed after a configurable period of inactivity.
• Ability to use an alternate “SIP Port” for the secondary SIP account used in double codec mode or for double streaming.
• Added support for new external LTE/4G USB devices: Huawei E3372h-153 and Huawei MS2372h-153.

• The “Auto Configuration” setting of the “RAVENNA” menu was not properly handled.

• Regression introduced in version 1.06 : malfunction with MPEG L2 coding at a sampling rate of 24 kHz or 32 kHz.

• Added a Master gain on the Program and Coordination buses. These new settings are located on the “Mixing” page on the screen or the “Audio” page of the html interface.
• Ability to select an “Auto login” when the Operator password is blank. Selectable in the “Tools” menu (Administrator level required).
• Ability to update the firmware of the unit using a USB memory key.

Improvements :

• “Talk to Speaker” intercom function behavior: automatically add gain to the source contribution when the associated monitoring level is low or even muted.
• For intercom functions, ability to select fading or muting for the non relevant signals.
• Ability to route the “Program return” and “Coord. return” audio sources to all outputs.
• Added support for MPEG L2 coding at 32 kHz for AoIP calls, in single and double codec modes.

Fixed issues :

• The “4 Talk 3” intercom function was not operative.
• Embedded web interface: in case the network for remote access is supported by a removable device (e.g. 4G stick) and it becomes unavailable (device unplugged), an erroneous “Auto” was displayed.

New features :

• Added support for the AETA “Double Streaming” system: ability to secure an audio over IP link by establishing two AoIP connections containing the same audio stream via two separate routes.

Improvements :

• Added support for MPEG L2 coding at 32 kHz for ISDN calls, in single and double codec modes.
• Removed linear coding from the codec list for AoIP calls for a better user experience, as the high CPU load caused a slow response on the user interface.

Fixed issues :

• Fixed the ASC codes used within the SIP INVITE messages for AAC-LC and HE-AAC dual mono coding at 48 kHz (AoIP calls in single codec mode).

When updating a unit to this version, make sure to update the MyScoopTeam application as well (LE or RE edition, version 1.5.0.4518 or newer).

Fixed issues :

• Regression introduced in version 1.04 : failure of the domain name resolution in some network access configurations (public DNS server address). As a consequence, malfunction when a domain name is used for the SIP or the STUN server.

When updating a unit to this version, make sure to update the MyScoopTeam application as well (LE or RE edition, version 1.4.1.4478).

New features :

• Added an “Information banner” on the home page of the front panel that summarizes the current status of the codecs and the links.
• Ability to select an operation mode in which the “Side tone” of a given commentary position is muted as long as the associated input is routed neither to the “Program” nor the “Coordination” buses: selection in a new sub-menu “Audio > Monitoring options”.
• Ability to configure and monitor the Ravenna / AES67 interface from the “Audio” menu of the front panel.

Improvements :

• “Remote Assistance/Access” service: ability to select the network interface that will be used for remote access (“Tools” menu of the front panel, or “Maintenance/Remote Access” html page).
  The “Auto” choice is still available, in which the interface is always the same as the one used for audio transmission.

Fixed issues :

• “Monitoring” page 1 or 2: inversion of the order of the RAV.1 and RAV.2 virtual potentiometers if the assignment of a lateral potentiometer is changed.
• After a power cycle, failure to “redial” by using a contact input (GPI).

New features :

• Added support for the “Remote Assistance/Access” service. The settings for this service are accessible from the “Tools” menu or the “Maintenance” embedded html page. The state of the service is shown on the “Status” menu and the “Status” html page.

Improvements :

• Microphone gain extended to a 0 to 50 dB range.
• The limiter/compresser automatically switches to stereo operation (gain coupling) whenever the audio configuration is stereo.
• The setup of an “Auto Redial” call is deferred until the user has logged in.
• The “AES Sync Loss” alarm is now treated as an irrelevant alarm.
• The serial number of the unit is now displayed in the “About” section of the “Status” page.

Important notice: if a password is set for accessing the html pages, you MUST reset it to a blank value (refer to page Maintenance/Login data), BEFORE performing this firmware update.
Once the update is completed, you can later set a password again.

New features :

• In the “Single AoIP codec” setup, ability to use stereo coding with Opus or MPEG Layer II.
• In the “Single ISDN codec” setup, ability to use stereo coding with MPEG Layer II, AAC-LC or HE-AAC.

• Ability to call a couple of ISDN numbers for setting a 2B connection (128 kbit/s).
